The most important aspect of a cooling water treatment program is the control of the microbiological population in the system.  Left unchecked, bacteria can cause significant issues related to fouling, corrosion and airborne diseases.  We carry a wide variety of disinfectants that are fed to the cooling tower systems to control the bacteria levels.

As water is evaporated from a cooling tower system the minerals are left behind.  Over time they continue to rise in concentration and they eventually approach their solubility limits.  Our scale inhibitors prevent the scale from depositing on the heat transfer surfaces, helping maintain optimal heat transfer efficiencies and minimizing operational impacts and energy usage.

Nearly every cooling system is comprised of a significant amount of metal piping and process equipment that spans facilities.  Preventing the corrosion of this piping helps protect the assets from premature failures.  We have many different types of corrosion inhibitors, each with their own conditions where their use is warranted.

Cooling towers are open systems, subject the variables introduced from airborne contaminants.  Also with the airborne dirt there is the bacteria that can adhere to the surface of the systems.  We have a variety of dispersants to help keep these contaminants from depositing on the surfaces so that they don't promote under-deposit corrosion or harbor bacteria that can raise the risk of disease.
