Closed Loop Treatment

Closed cooling and heating loops are employed in a variety of situations throughout industry. They are one of the least dynamic operations encountered in water treatment, yet they are often some of the most critical systems in a facility. AWS's personnel ensure these systems are properly protected from corrosion and bacteria growth to keep them operating reliably.

Nearly every closed loop is comprised of a significant amount of metal piping and process equipment that spans facilities. Closed loops also tend to flow through exotic and critical unit operations. Preventing the corrosion of this piping helps protect the assets from premature failures. We have many different types of corrosion inhibitors, each with their own conditions where their use is warranted.
